Message if i bought a TV and it was delivered and the tv itself looked great and looked good in the room and had cool anentas and a remot but i got no picture would it still be a great tv? My example is that you're saying the engine was the main part and they got that right - the rest of the stuff is secondary - this is true, but 1 of the secondary issues almost ruined the engine. Had i been anywhere else but where i was when the oil line ruptured i would have most definitely lost my engine. Had i lost my engine due to that we wouldnt even be having this discussion.

Again - i didnt start this thread, but i will sure as shit state my points here now. You keep going back to this time issue, i went off his quote of 4 weeks, yes we added a few more things to the order, but it went 4 months - 4 times as long as he quoted. So dont tell me i rushed him, that is absolute bullshit - bottom line and i heard this from a ton of people who stopped by the shop is that he got a huge rush of business since it was spring and my car many times got 2nd/3rd fiddle.

When i spend that kind of money i dont find any part of it to be not worth addressing. Maybe when you sell ecu's and send them out quickly at a good price you dont test them to see if they work and thats why you're thinking like you are..but that does go w/ your 2 out of 3 is good service policy - good price, fast, but it doesnt work - but you got 2 out of 3. Of course i know you ended up fixing or replacing the ECU i'm talking about, but my situation is like saying you sent me an ECU that you didnt build but that doesnt work but you feel the quality was adequate.

I mean come on bro - these little issues have cost me over $1k to fix not to mention the time involved and the fact that i've already paid for most of it once. And how many times do i have to say this - i contacted ruzzell privately after Zcon and made him an offer to make things good by me:

"I OFFERED THAT IF HE GAVE ME A USED STOCK HOOD WE WOULD CALL IT EVEN"

he refused my offer. Yes these things may seem trivial, but knowing how you counter a good damn spinning your tires ticket - i'm sure had you spent $8200 you would be writing up a graduate theosis on how you were dupped!

I appreciate you trying to offer your solution or explanation of this situation, but bro - you have yet to meet me or see my car in person - you can ask Halo, Kaz, Yugo, SpdDemon, Spencer, Greg Dupree, and anyone at the TX Dyno day - things were done poorly and as a result i've had complications and the person who was responsible has until last night refused to work w/ me on this.

I dont see how this is complicated, i paid $8200 for labor, engine, and addition parts and so on, but took him a koyo, greddy td05 kit, and my clutch along w/ freshly painted plastics. It took 4 weeks longer than he quoted and i've had a ton of excuses since then as to time frame and how it was a great deal and not his shop etc etc as to why things were not done to requirement.

Hinesight is always 20/20 right - looking back i'm sure russell can see that there were things done then that he would not do now or would do differently - again thats the disadvantage of being a "ginea pig" - but that makes it no less accountable and up until last night russell had not taken responsibility for such actions. I offered a resolution to this back in JULY and addressed all these issues originally in MAY. I never brought it to TTnet until just the other nite when posting pics and at that time i didnt even use his name or his shops name.

I dont know how much more clear i can be about this, but its pretty simple - customer satisfation should be priority one and he was clearly concerned about his shops rep when i picked my car up but hasnt bothered to take care of me since then. Moreover i am sure my posts generated enough business for him to at least take care of my "trivial" grievances.
